I've decided to take the plunge and order some actual stock. This is my first trial at holding stock at home and posting an actual product to customers.

At the moment it feels like every moment of my day is planned. Yes I have a 6 month old baba so routine is never something to complain about, however it also means so many of my days are very predictable. Running this freelance business has allowed me to keep my creativity going, and allow for a little bit of unpredictability.

I created these cards because, like me, I can imagine there are a lot of people out there who are thinking about their loved ones from afar. I wanted to create something positive, and a little surprise for people to come through the mailbox. Granted some people might be wearing marigolds when they pick it up but the thought is there.

I have become addicted to my phone (now more than ever) and it is where all of my social interactions come through. Which is lovely, but at some point it all becomes very same-y. I'm a speed reader which doesn't help, and a champion multitasker so it's so easy for me to miss a message. I then wake up in the middle of the night in a panic when I remember.

These cards are there to interrupt the daily grind and predictive nature of our lifestyles at the moment to make them smile. To give them something tangible to hold, and cherish. I see this as a 'just because I was thinking of you' card.

I'm super excited to see what they are like and I'm excited at the prospect of someone else appreciating them! Click here to see the listing on my Etsy Store.
