I have wanted to do this for ages but I finally got around to it when I was gifted some plants from my neighbours. Anyone who knows me knows I have the kiss of death when it comes to plants so I am under an incredible amount of pressure to keep these ones alive. They gave us a cucumber plant, a tomato plant and three sunflower plants!
I used a Rust-oleum white spray paint to prime the terracotta pots. I used acrylic paints to decorate the pots and then a Rust-oleum clear spray paint to seal the colour against water damage. I'm hoping that they will be weather resistant to the rain and frost! I've got two more sunflower pots that I will decorate soon.
